Evolving Role of Communications Specialists in Social Media
An IABC-Event on Tuesday, 17 April 2012 from 8:30 – 10:30 am
Liberty Café (Private Room), Exchange Square, Central
HKD 230 per person
Dear IABC Friends.
Have you ever wondered how relevant are Marketing Communications Specialists in today’s evolving Social Media landscape? Social media has ushered in a generational change in communications. The ‘publishers formerly known as audience’ are creating connections and content at a dizzying pace and are becoming more involved in the process of influencing others.. It’s also creating challenges for professional communicators.
- How do you respond to a tsunami of information?
- How effective are you in filtering what is relevant and necessary?
- How do you steer senior managers through networks they may not be active in?
- How do you retain control when everyone is speaking about your brand?
Communicators today are forced to adjust – from an era of controlled communications to a period of rapid fire 24-hour a day dialogue. The question is can we evolve fast enough?
Please join the IABC Event on Tuesday, 17 April 2012 from 8:30 to 10:30 and learn from Walter Jennings, Partner, Kreab & Gavin Anderson.
